Apex Fabrication & Design and Nasatka Security (nasatka.com) officially merged in April 2019, formalizing a partnership that had spanned over four decades. Founded in 2003 by Jim Smith Jr., Apex was established specifically to support Nasatka’s rapidly growing demand for high-quality steel fabrication following the events of 9/11. By integrating Apex’s 60,000-square-foot facility in Boyertown, Pennsylvania, Nasatka successfully transitioned all of its product fabrication into the United States, positioning itself as one of the few full-service perimeter security companies with entirely domestic manufacturing. Today, this synergy allows the combined entity to deliver advanced, crash-tested active and passive vehicle barriers—such as the M530 bolt-down arm barrier—to highly secured sites, critical infrastructure, and commercial environments worldwide.
